My practice includes work with individuals, generally ages 18 and up, and couples. I was a Professor of Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for many years, and now am the Executive Director of the Boulder Crest Institute for Posttraumatic Growth (see www.bouldercrest.org). At Boulder Crest we serve veterans and first responders. With my small practice, I make appointments with you myself, and there is no bureaucracy to deal with. I am on many insurance plans. I think you will find that working with me is comfortable and practical, and we start right away to discuss what your concerns are.
Although I work with individuals and couples with various concerns and difficulties, my specialty involves life transitions, loss, and trauma.
