I graduated from Western Carolina University in May 2013 and hold a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor through the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors. I previously worked for the Daymark center in Union county. When not at my private practice I am working in my contracted position at the Jenkin's Creative Counseling Center providing Equine Facilitated Therapy in Salisbury, NC.
In my private practice at the Family Enrichment Center I provide counseling services for clients aged 8-60 who are dealing with adjustment issues, relationship problems, anxiety, post traumatic stress, and depression. I am paneled through the insurance companies Cigna/Evernorth and Aetna to provide counseling services. Clients also have the option to use self-pay for sessions. I am trained in Phase 1 and 2 of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Phase 1 of Brainspotting. In sessions I also utilize other therapeutic techniques such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.
